Godfather Post (Concrete Fence Repair Spur)
Our Godfather Posts, also commonly known as concrete fence repair spurs, are manufactured on site at our Derby factory. Each post is wet cast to achieve a smoother surface finish and is made using a high‑quality mix of 4–10mm gravel aggregate, concreting sand, and 52.5N high‑strength cement. For added durability and strength, all posts are reinforced with 5.5mm steel rods.
Godfather posts are designed specifically for repairing wooden fence posts that have broken or rotted at ground level, providing a strong and cost‑effective alternative to replacing the entire post. The repair spur is installed alongside the existing timber post and secured to the sound section above ground.
Each concrete repair spur comes with two pre‑drilled 15mm holes, allowing it to be firmly bolted to the wooden post. Post dimensions are 1340mm x 100mm x 85mm.
For best results, we recommend using Postcrete to set the repair spur securely in the ground next to the damaged fence post.
