Heavy Rock Face Concrete Gravel Boards
Our heavy rock face concrete gravel boards are manufactured on site at our Derby factory, ensuring dependable quality and durability. Each board is wet‑cast using carefully selected materials, featuring a deeply textured, heavily rocky finish that creates a rugged, natural stone appearance - ideal for rustic, traditional, or more robust fencing installations.
Gravel boards are installed at ground level beneath fence panels to protect timber fencing from direct contact with soil and moisture, helping to prevent rot and decay while extending the life of the fence. The heavy rock finish provides an attractive yet hard‑wearing base that complements gravel surfaces, rural settings, and natural garden schemes.
Manufactured from a high‑quality mix of 4–10mm gravel aggregate, concreting sand, and 52.5N high‑strength cement, each gravel board is reinforced with 5.5mm steel rods for added strength, stability, and resistance to impact.
Designed to suit standard fencing, these rock face gravel boards are 6ft wide and available in two heights: 6 inch or 12 inch, allowing you to choose the appropriate level of ground clearance and protection for your fence.
