Smooth Gravel Board

Our smooth concrete gravel boards are manufactured on site at our Derby factory, ensuring consistent quality and durability. Each board is wet‑cast to create a smooth, clean surface finish, providing a neat, modern appearance that enhances the overall look of any fencing installation.

Gravel boards are an essential component of a fencing system, fitted at ground level beneath fence panels. They lift timber fencing away from damp ground, protecting panels from moisture, rot, and insect damage and significantly extending the life of your fence. Concrete gravel boards also help to level uneven ground, retain soil or gravel, and create a strong, tidy base for fencing.

These particular gravel boards feature a smooth face rather than a textured or rock‑faced finish, making them ideal where a clean, understated look is preferred and easy maintenance is important.

Manufactured using a high‑quality mix of 4–10mm gravel aggregate, concreting sand, and 52.5N high‑strength cement, each board is reinforced with 5.5mm steel rods for added strength, durability, and resistance to impact.

All boards are 6ft wide to suit standard fence panels and are available in two heights: 6 inch or 12 inch, allowing you to choose the appropriate level of ground clearance and protection for your fencing.
